Dedicated to providing tailored, professional and expert training to our clients, Matter is now live across Nottingham.
Based in Nottinghamshire, we provide training courses to professionals who will be working closely with vulnerable children and young people.
At Matter, we focus on delivering evidence-based training and consultancy that is tailored to the individual needs of our clients. Our aim is to raise awareness and improve professional practice in the child health and social care sector.
Matter was set up in January 2017 by Joseph Rafter (Managing Director of Footsteps to Futures Ltd and Founder and Chairman of The Harley Jae Trust) and Richard Jones (Forensic Psychologist in Training at Footsteps to Futures Ltd). Our team consists of Forensic Psychologists, Consultant Social Workers and Residential Managers with a wide range of clinical and forensic experience and passion for what we do.
We know there is far more that can be done to improve outcomes for young people. Therefore, our main goal is to share good practice and holistic approaches in order to develop these dedicated industries further. We firmly believe in providing compassionate, non-judgemental and person-centred care for highly vulnerable individuals.
