Today we will attend the Community of Communities Annual Forum in London.
This is the 15th Annual Forum, held at the Royal College of Psychiatrists in London. This year’s focus is Therapeutic Communities past, present and future, and is aimed at celebrating TC’s, like the services provided at our home in Hilltop House. We will look at why and how to share good practice, celebrate the hard work of TC’s, and discuss what the future holds for us all.
There to represent the hard work carried out at our children’s home, Footsteps to Futures, we are very excited for the day and expect to learn a lot. We look forward to meeting people and talking to them about our training courses and hopefully look to work with them in the future.
The Community of Communities forum is a quality improvement and accreditation programme for Therapeutic Communities in the UK and overseas. Their work supports members to meet the highest standards of TC practice through a process of self- and peer-review.
