Children’s Lives Matter

At Matter we focus on delivering evidence based child health and social care training and consultancy that is tailored to the individual needs of our clients. Our aim is to raise awareness and improve professional practice in the child health and social care sector.

About Matter

We firmly believe in providing compassionate, non-judgemental and person-centred care for vulnerable individuals. Professionals who work with children in care often experience challenging behaviour, and our workshops highlight that challenging behaviour is a form of communication and should be understood alongside the child’s past adverse life experiences.

Organisations and teams that adopt a compassion focussed way of working with young people are likely to see improved outcomes, and our aim is to empower workforces and whole organisations to provide the best possible care for those in need of their services.
